About our school

At Berkeley Vale Public School, we aim to develop children who strive for their best academic, sporting, cultural and environmental pursuits in a safe, happy, caring and stimulating environment.

Opportunities are provided for every student to achieve their full potential, with an expectation of high standards in both learning and behaviour. Students have the opportunity to participate in experiences including academic competitions, performances, dance festivals, PSSA sporting activities and gala days. The school provides opportunities for our students to develop a love of learning, to be active learners, and to be confident, caring, respectful members of the community.

Berkeley Vale Public School works in close partnership with our parents and wider community through an active Parents and Citizens Association. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in our school activities and their child's education.

We are a school which prides itself on innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) which helps build student capacity and creativity to better prepare them for the future. We have exceptional ICT devices and facilities, which includes a state of the art STEM Lab.

Our staff are highly skilled, experienced and qualified professionals who are committed to professional development, leading to a school that challenges and inspires our students. Teachers design and implement high-quality teaching and learning programs that enhance learning outcomes through innovative, engaging learning opportunities.

We are a valuable member of the Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community, a group of outstanding schools encompassing seven primary schools (K-Year 6), two secondary colleges (Years 7-10) and one senior college (Years 11-12). All schools work together to deliver exceptional transition programs that ensure our students are prepared, confident and active participants in their progression to secondary schooling.
