Out of School Hours (OOSH)
Berkeley Vale Public School P & C Association Before & After School Care service was established in 2008 by the Parents & Citizen's Association of Berkeley Vale Public School to meet the child care needs of the school community and, in particular, to provide an onsite centre-based care for the 5 - 12 years during the school term. The service is managed through a subcommittee of the P & C and welcomes parental involvement in running the centre.
At Berkeley Vale Public School Oosh children have the opportunity to engage in stimulating learning programs based on the My Time Our Place Framework.
Educators support spontaneous play and intentional learning experiences modifying the program to adapt to children's individual needs to ensure the well being of all children as well as their personal development. We provide a fun, safe and happy environment where children can relax and build upon social interactions and be a part of a positive and meaningful Before and After School Care Centre that fosters children's skills and leads them to be long life learners.
Our Homework Club runs each afternoon to assist children with any work or projects they may have, giving them the opportunity to achieve personal growth whilst still maintaining the social balance during the afternoon.
The centre operates government school terms
Monday to Friday between the hours of:
Before School Care: 6.30am to 8.30am
After School Care: 3.00pm to 6.30pm.
A nutritious breakfast and afternoon tea will be provided for the children attending this service.

Vacation care operates during each school holidays from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
Afternoon tea will be provided during vacation care.
Fees 2015
Before School Care Fees - $17 per session
After School Care Fees - $22 per session
Vacation Care Fees - $55.50 per day
Centrelink approved Centre.
